Water heater had mold growing in the stand.

When water leaks small droplets over a long period time, it begins to collect. When the collection of water is in a damp, humid area such as the wooden stand that holds up a water heater it creates the perfect environment for mold to grow. Not everyone thinks to check all areas of the home such as the water heater, especially because it's located in the garage away from the rest of the house. This homeowner didn't know his water heater was even leaking until he started to smell something musty and discovered a green moss looking thing growing out of the sides of the water heater stand. Our team was able to remediate the mold and clean out the stand while the homeowner got his water heater repaired!
